Rosenholm Castle is Denmark's oldest family owned castle The Rosenkrantz family still stay in the castle for periods of time during the year I loved hearing the story that Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen- Out of Africa) was very friendly with the Rosenkrantz family and often stayed at the castle when she returned to live in Denmark from Africa
