Richard O'Farrell, Savitri (People and Portrait 2017)

I had been in India for 7days and I hadn't eaten. I was very manic (I have Bipolar Disorder) and I was throwing myself into my photography. I had a day off and I went for a walk from my hotel. I came across a large building The Blind School of Dadar. I went in and asked the principal whether I could photograph the school and the students. I was so excited about the project. On the third day I saw a beautiful girl in a white dress coming down the stairs. I took one photo - Savitri.
