Elizabeth Dawes-Higgs, Silent Encounters: Tourists in Yellowstone (TRAVEL 2024)

This series of photos captures tourists interacting with the landscape of Yellowstone National Park. The black-and-white theme and use of silhouettes highlight the contrast between the visitors and the park's iconic steam and mist. My aim was to convey a sense of quiet reflection and connection that visitors have with this unique and incredible landscape. These images are intended to be viewed in a specific order, moving from the collective experience to the individual in their moment of contemplation.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
