Louise Faulkner, Smoke on the Water (Landscape 2019)

These images were all captured after a cool overnight change extinguished a number of fires in SouthWest National Park, Tasmania. The wild winds of the previous day disappeared with the rain. A pall of grey-white smoke gripped the surrounding hillsides as the filtered sun rose over the stillness of the lake.
