Matthew Barrett, Stargazer (Junior 2021)

Admittedly when I arrived at Mosman Headlands to take this carefully planned shot, I wasn’t expecting to get much visibility of the night sky or Milky Way. I sort of abandoned the image for a while and eventually stumbled back across it 6 months later when reviewing my Lightroom catalogue. I started to edit it to see what I could get out of it and after over forty minutes of continuous editing and tweaking I managed to create the image that has been submitted.
