Fraser Bock, Startrails over the River (May theme: The night sky)

This image was taken on the Murray River in South Australia. This was my first attempt of star trail photography. The final image was a result of taking 25 second exposures continuously over the period of about an hour and then stacking them to show the movement of the stars due to the rotation of the earth.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
