Jason Harris, Stillness of time (SINGLE SHOT 2024)

Time is such a precious commodity. There is seeming endless amounts of it, but it seems to vanish literally before our eyes. That is why it is nice to sometimes take a deep breath and embrace the beauty around us. This shot was taken just prior to first light on the Swan River on a perfectly still morning where the water was like glass. This allowed the reflection of an Australian Darter preening itself to be mirrored in the reflection.
