Coby Whamond, Sunset storm (Landscape 2021)
These shots were taken on a very hot afternoon in Karratha. I had just finished work and could see a storm firing off on the out skirts of town. So I grabbed my gear and headed to the salt flats in the middle of town to wait for it to get closer. After waiting for about an hour and a half the storm was close and bam down came these beautiful bolts just what I was waiting for. I ended up spending a total of 6 hours standing on the flats capturing many different shots but out of all of them these where my greatest storm shots yet
