Lynne O'Meara, Tanabe Star Trails (September theme: Blue)

The Tanabe Rice carvings are in a remote location in the Northern Territory, the Japanese Sculptor Mitsuaki Tanabe carved this depiction of a rice grain in granite rock stretching over 80 meters. Its north south projection has made this carving accomodating as a light painted forground subject leading into the great blue night sky decorated with colourful startrails.
