In the calm glassy waters of Platypus Bay baby humpbacks rest, grow and learn all the moves that will help them to safely migrate all the way down to the icy waters of Antarctica. The Mums bring their calves into the bay and it becomes a huge nursery. This Mum was teaching her baby by example - she would breach and then he would copy - what a good Mum! It was a "glassy water" day without a breath of wind!
