Tim Burgess, Textures of Tangalooma (AERIAL 2022)
Located just north of the Tangalooma Island Resort are the Tangalooma Wrecks, a cluster of ships scuttled by the Queensland Government between 1963 and 1984 to provide safe anchorage spot for recreational boat owners on the eastern side of Moreton Bay. Australia is often recognised for its stunning beaches and calming sands, It is because of this that Tangalooma is the pinnacle for aerial photography, with unmatched blues & stunning textures amongst the wrecks. Through aerial photography, I was allowed to represent the amazing landscapes we have at our doorstep here in Australia, which we are renowned for around the world.
