Allen Koppe, The Bridge (Black and White 2019)

The Sydney Harbor Bridge is one of Sydney's most iconic structures, a majestic construction spanning one of the worlds most beautiful harbors. One of the fascinations I have with the bridge is that the elements of construction are not hidden away as they are with many modern buildings. There is a graphic handmade rawness on display giving the Bridge an element of a time gone by. Photographically I am attracted to these graphic elements, the shapes and the light reflections and would like to pay tribute the hands of the working men who constructed it.
