Street portraits of the women of Brisbane’s Hat Walk. Fashion was not only supposed to make women beautiful, but to reassure them and to give them confidence. A hat is the difference between being dressed and being dressed up. A hat is to be stylish in, to glow under, to flirt beneath and a piece of magic. A hat gives us the knowledge to know deep inside that we are queens.
