John Toulantas, The Dark Tide (LANDSCAPE 2024)

These black and white seascapes, taken at moonrise with a slow shutter speed, capture the waves as they break on the rocky cliffs of Point Arkwright in Queensland. The contrast between the dark rocks and the shimmering sea highlights the rugged beauty of the coastline. In one moment the images reflect the raging oceans while in the next a quiet reflection on the natural world.
