Anthony Franks, The Humpback Highway (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)

The east coast of Australia has in excess of 40,000 Humpback Whales pass by each year as they travel north for breeding and south for feeding, hence the area becomes known as the Humpback Highway. The Humpbacks can put on a spectacular display and seeing these enormous mammals up close is a sight to behold. This collection of images was captured off Sydney on the southern migration during 2023.
