Adam Schneideman, The light at the end of the tunnel (SINGLE SHOT 2024)

The light at the end of the tunnel is a metaphorical piece that draws a variety of meaning behind the piece. Whether it is the light at the end of life as death looms or the triumph at the end of a difficult time, this photograph is relatable and strikes emotion to the viewer. Taken in a drain hole in Brisbanes Kangaroo Point Cliff, it was an extreme juggling act of exposure zones in order to create an image that is balanced in the manner in which I had envisioned. Let alone the journey down there was one of danger and the threat of bats. This was shot on the Pentax 67 with the SMC Pentax 104mm F2.4 with Kodak Portra 400.
