Matthew Wong, The Night Before the Storm (JUNIOR 2024)

This was one particularly cold day when I came home from class to see the sun starting to set between some altocumulus clouds. I was hoping to see a good sunset, since the past week was quite overcast. However as I arrived by the sea, some low clouds began to form above the Harbour Bridge. Seeing that a storm was forming to the west, I thought about giving up, until I saw the swathes of orange emerge from below the clouds, whilst the sky above remained blue. I really liked the contrast of the colours, and decided to snap this picture.
