Santiago Barrantes Moreno, “ THE PAIN OF AN INTERRUPTED EXISTENCE” (PEOPLE 2022)
“ THE PAIN OF AN INTERRUPTED EXISTENCE”, is a photographic exhibition based on the pain, disconsolation and melancholy of a deep and absent love, a woman covered by a delicate veil that transmits expressiveness and mystery, with that explicit sensuality that makes this exhibition an intriguing piece. It is an exhibition inspired by an Italian Rococo sculptor (Antonio Corradini), who made different monuments using a technique called Wet Cloths, a sculptural technique consisting of carving the transparencies produced by wet clothes on the body, playing with sensuality and eroticism by which, without representing a naked body, the naked body could be perceived halfway through.
