Andrea Maloney, The springtime Lady Bug Cycle - early life (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)

Every year I love to watch, and document these amazing little creatures in their early life stages. They may seem un-attractive, even ugly, and a lot of people don't realise they walk right by them every day, assuming they only ever appear as the cute little beetle we all love. This stage is known as Stage 1, Egg and Stage 2, Larva. (and I think they are cute)
