Sameera Abeysuriya, The stalker (Single Shot 2021)
The moment you connect with wildlife at random is a priceless feeling for any photographer. I took an early drive to the RJ Hamer arboretum to capture the colour of the autumn. It was 6 am in the morning with a beautiful ambience and when i was taking pictures of the landscapes and the colours of the beautiful trees, a deer appeared through the bushes at a least expected moment when I was busy working on my landscape shots. Luckily I had my 70-200mm f2.8 lens on and those few seconds was all about the beast staring at me until it disappeared in to the wild.
