Kevin Palmer, The Survivor (SINGLE SHOT 2022)

For a long time, I have struggled in my attempts to capture images of this massive what I think is a Carabeen tree, as is stands in this slew of piled volcanic rocks. How can I convey the treacherous steepness of the location, of scampering over the large loose boulders with their ticks, leaches and snakes. All because from any other angle it is too easy to diminish the majesty of this tree. So I will keep up my attempts and wondering how is survives or more concerning for how much longer it can?
