Brian Wild, The Tranquil Taro (LANDSCAPE 2024)
The Val di Taro, the valley of the Taro river, is a stunningly beautiful and tranquil place. Nature is at its centre, from its origins in the highest peaks of the Appennine mountains to its confluence with the mighty Po, near Parma. The Taro wends 126 kilometres through forests and woods where mushrooms, truffles and chestnuts are born. These photos of the Taro river were captured just a few kilometres upstream from Borgho val di Taro (aka 'Borghotaro') in the Emilia-Romagna Region of northern Italy. Handheld Nikon Zfc with DX 16-50mm lens. Cropping and minor adjustments in Lightroom. Dated July 2024.
