Ethan Mann, The Wild Backyard (Wildlife and Animal 2019)
This year I have been documenting wildlife in my parent's backyard (both welcome and unwelcome). With bandicoots, possums, frogs, birds and snakes, there is a plethora of species to observe and photograph. Humans have altered landscapes and ecosystems, so we now share our habitats with wildlife. Not all are refugees, but rather our habitats meet their needs, meaning you do not have to travel to exotic lands to get quality wildlife images. You can get them in your own backyard.
Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
