Johnny Hendrikus, Thermal Wonderland (Travel 2019)

Located on New Zealands central plateau is a little geothermal city called Rotorua, boasting some of the most incredible natural scenes and sites in the country. With its egg smell and humid temperatures, Rotorua embraced the geothermal activity with its infrastructure and utilises this incredible resource in both its form and function. Featured in my entry takes us for a little trip around Rotorua, from wallabies in the Whakarewarewa Forest to natural steam at Kuirau Park, Rotorua is out of this world.
