Elizabeth Dawes-Higgs, Timber and Tranquility (B&W 2024)

This series explores the connection between wood, wilderness and human presence in the alpine environment. The natural curves of the Snow Gums, alongside the crafted timber of the cross, reflect the harmony between nature and humans. Through the use of monochrome, the photos emphasize the raw textures and serene beauty of the Australian Alpine region.
