Lynn Stephens-Tait, Turtle Island (September Theme: Birds)

Upon edging closer to photograph this Australasian Darter holding it's wings out to dry, I wondered why its island appeared to be moving. The reason was, a dozen or more turtles attempting to pile onto the partially submerged log.
