Yori Hirokawa, Under the sacred tree. (B&W 2022)

These photos were taken in Botswana in September 2022. The Mashatu tree is called a "sacred tree" by the locals. This giant tree, like the mother of the earth, provides shade and berries for the animals. Animals gathered under the tree were wrapped in light, and the beauty of coexistence shone through. The black-and-white photographs enhanced the light's appeal.
