Ava Regoli, Velvet Wings of Vibrancy (December theme: The Moment )

This colourful Cairns Birdwing Butterfly is the largest Australian butterfly. It's velvet wings of vibrancy flutter in the breeze, down to the pink and white flowers to finally settle and take a break. It was at this moment that all was still, and I could photograph this amazing creature.
