Brian Anderson, Vigur Island Residents (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)
A visit to Vigur Island is a challenge: seasonal for resident populations and weather for the basic access. A privately owned island, Vigur is a 30 min boat ride from Isafjordor in the rugged and isolated north west of Iceland. The island is run as a sanctuary for the migratory Black Guilletmot and Arctic Tern, the resident Eider Ducks and the annual Atlantic Puffins.
