As Australians, we go to the beach. It's what we do. Our coastal environment embraces and encloses us, literally, figuratively, emotionally. I chose these images to showcase the coastal landscape and our place in that landscape - we might be very small in the big picture, but our responsibilities in safekeeping our precious coastal environments loom larger with each passing day.
