Jacob Dedman, Whalers Bluff Lighthouse (JUNIOR 2020)

Who doesn’t love lighthouses? From the moment I saw this lighthouse at Portland on the Great Ocean Road, I knew that from that moment, I would always have a love of Photographing lighthouses. The lighthouse at Whalers Bluff, Portland was literally just behind the caravan park we were staying at, so I had the advantage of being close by. This shot was taken just after sunset during the "blue hour". I love the contrast between the lighthouse and the clouds, and after I downloaded the photos to my Mac, I noticed that I actually captured the moon even though it was behind the clouds! EXIF Data: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Lens @24mm, ISO 50, f/22, exposure time: 60secs, spot metering, edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic.
