Sonia Friedrich, "Who's There?" (Animal & Nature 2021)

This day on the ocean we had perfect conditions. Very low swell and slight winds. The water was glassy. I'd never seen it so calm. For around half an hour dolphins swam and darted around, under, and in front of the boat. It was amazing. Then this one left me in awe. So inquisitive the dolphin did a 'vertical', as if wanting to know "Who's there?"
