Jacob Dedman, Windmill Of The Heavens (JUNIOR 2020)

Windmills like this one are a classic part of Australia. From the outback of Central Australia, to the countryside in the hills of Victoria these windmills will always be a part of this diverse country. I was out looking for something interesting to photograph on a wet, cloudy day when I came across this windmill. As I waited under the cover of a tree (it was raining very hard that day), I noticed that there was a gap between some of the cloud that was drifting across. when the gap got closer, I saw that there was some dramatic cumulus right behind the windmill. And this is the result! EXIF data: Canon 70D with Canon EF 5Omm f/1.8 STM, @50mm, f/3.2, ISO 100, exposure time: 1/8000sec, pattern metering. Edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic
