Our featured portfolio of the week profiles some of the entries so far in 2016 Photographer of the Year, the biggest photo competition for amateur photographers in Australasia. It's on now.
In our featured portfolio of the week we look at Paean Ng's entry in the landscape category. Over the course of the 2016 Milky Way season, Paean traveled to various landmarks along the western coast of Australia, photographing each location at night.
"The photos in this collection are panoramas capturing the full arch of the Milky Way along with other celestial objects taken at the Lancelin Sand Dunes, Sugarloaf Rock and the Guilderton Lighthouse. Each photo contains between 25 to 48 images and took between 20 to 40 minutes to capture," he says.
