Over the past decade, Photographer of the Year, presented by Ted's, has become an important launchpad for many amateur photographers in Australia and New Zealand. The competition is the largest of its kind for amateur photographers in Australasia, and in its 12th year in 2024 had a prize pool valued at more than $16,000.
The competition will return in 2025 with entries opening 1 May 2025. To enter the competition you must be an amateur photographer (as defined in the terms and conditions), and a citizen or resident of Australia or New Zealand.
